About

Sporting Duet Academy was established in 2004 by Cyrille Allain and Alain Schibl with the aim of offering players from all backgrounds the opportunity to experience a professional football development similar to what the pair grew up with in their youth. The Academy grew alongside London’s French Community offering curricular and extra-curricular football sessions to local schools, with Club Ambassador Robert Pires (Arsenal and France Legend) joining the team in 2014 reinforcing how far the club had come.
Now with over 1,000 registered players, the Academy has grown from strength to strength, delivering after school football sessions throughout the week, including Saturday League and Sunday Elite League football, as well as the Goalkeeper’s Academy, football birthday parties, Football Camps in London and tournaments abroad during the season.

The Academy has built up a reputation for being one of London’s best multi-national football clubs at developing young talent and providing quality coaching in a safe environment. The Academy prides itself on its fully qualified, multi-cultural and diverse team, and welcomes children and young adults of all nationalities and backgrounds, of both sexes, and of all abilities between the ages of 5 and 18 years of age.
As well as developing their football skills, learning to communicate and teaching their players to be part of a team, the Sporting Duet Academy’s main aim is to ensure all its members progress on and off the pitch whilst learning to play with Confidence, Passion and Respect.

Providing professional and Safe drop-in football sessions for Players of all backgrounds and abilities , to help promote social intergration .

Encouraging players to find a balance between their football and their education by teaching them important life values through football to help them in any walk of life.

Supporting parents by offering subsidised subscription fees to ensure every player can continue to develop their passion for football.

RACING CLUB DE LENS

The Sporting Duet Academy is incredibly proud to partner with professional club Racing Club De Lens (www.rclens.fr) since 2017, a partnership born out of a common passion for football as well as matching values on and off the pitch.
As well as providing our players with a route to the professional game, and opportunities to take part in the “Sang et Or” football camps at the world famous facilities La Gaillette in the North of France (www.stagessangetor.com), the new partnership has provided a platform for the Academy to showcase their best young talent in the London Youth Premiere League, with three of our age groups competing as RC Lens London against professional teams such as Crystal Palace, Norwich and Cambridge United in the Elite Level League. RC Lens London creates a professional environment for their coaches and players to develop and progress with their football, with all training sessions and matches taking place at the fantastic newly developed facility Club Des Sports in East Acton (www.clubdessports.co.uk).
Through the partnership we have also launched the RC Lens London Cup, an annual international U13s tournament inviting the best grassroots football clubs from home and abroad to play against professional clubs taking place at one of the best facilities available, the first of its kind in the English capital!
